FURTHER to recent correspondence regarding cyclists needing to be seen at night I would agree with your correspondent.
There does appear to be more cyclists lighting up but I would suggest that they give some thought to the setting of their front lights.
I have encountered blinding lights which dazzle me completely.
Whilst I agree that they need powerful lighting I would suggest that they make sure that they do not cause a problem for other road users.
On a different subject Neil Meldrum was spot on regarding Bournemouth, not only at night but during the day also.
I was born and brought up in Bournemouth but I would not like to live there now.
I now live in Wimborne which according to statistics is one of the safest places in the country.
