WE had very mixed feelings about the building of a fossil museum at Kimmeridge where we go to find peace.
It is described as world class and is indeed a very handsome building which dwarfs the surrounding cottages.
Are there to be ‘world class’ approach roads or passing places for the coaches?
As it is, even modest caravans have difficulty passing cars in Church Knowle (avoiding Creech Hill) and tractors can be passed because of the skill of their drivers. Coaches are going to be a whole different matter. And what about the huge motorhomes?
The existing potholes and crumbling road edges on all the approach roads have not been mended for years. Presumably the experts in Dorset Planning Department would never have encouraged this development without having a solution to this problem – so may we know and share what it is please?
