SINGER songwriter Krista Green and her band are set to play at the Bournemouth Folk Club at the Trouville Hotel on October 30.

The Dorset-born modern folk and pop artist Krista released her fourth album, Summertime Love, back in May this year.

Krista has been compared to KT Tunstall and Jack Johnson, has four albums under her belt and 12 years of experience in the music industry.

Her debut album, Moments with the Universe, was released in May 2012; followed by Krista Green: Live later that year.

Her third studio album, Stepping Stones was released in September 2014.

Her voice has been described as ‘sunshine’ and Krista went on to win Bournemouth Unplugged in 2011, despite being up against tremendous talent.

Her fan base continues to grow, as does her social media following.

Besides her solo work, Krista also tours as part of Krista Green & The Bees, and shared the stage with Nizlopi at the Purbeck Valley Folk Festival under this guise.

She is no stranger to performing live and thrives on entertaining new crowds. Her aim is to bring her music to as many people as possible.

Krista told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: “Song-writing is like therapy to me. Turning my thoughts and feelings into something creative and positive; and there’s nothing I love more than playing live and sharing my songs with other people.”
