Looking for a firework display to attend this weekend? here's our guide to what's happening across Dorset and the New Forest. 

The Littledown Centre is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a grand party on Saturday, November 5. The event boasts not one but three displays including the White Knuckle, billed as the area's loudest firework display. There will also be a free entry indoor Family Fun Zone, with Get Set Go Karting, Crazy Creatures, taekwondo display and Avonbourne Gymnastic Club, there’s a giant late-night funfair, a licensed bar and refreshments. The pitches will play host to free have-a-go sports sessions including football, rugby, cricket, tennis and golf. Black Water County will also be performing on the night. Gates open at 5.30pm with fireworks displays at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. A limited number of family tickets are available until October 31 at the special Early Bird discount price of £20. Tickets will be on sale until November 5 priced at £7 for adults, £5 for under 16s with free entry for children under three. They are available from Littledown Centre and www.eventbrite.co.uk.

Poole Quay will host an evening of free entertainment on Bonfire Night, culminating in a firework show over the harbour. Organised by Poole Tourism and supported by businesses on the quay, the event will be the finale of Wave 105's Summertime in the South programme. It will include live music, a junior disco, family entertainment, street entertainers, jugglers and fire performers. Other attractions include the Bonkers Dance Academy, the Passion Dance Academy, and the Poole Field Gun Team. The event is scheduled for a 5pm start on Saturday, November 5, with the main firework finale set to take place over Poole Harbour at 8pm.

Butchers Coppice Firework Display returns on Saturday, November 5.  Gates open at 5.30pm with bonfire lighting at 6pm and a guy competition at 7pm. The evening will climax with a dazzling firework display at 7.30pm. Tickets bought before November 4 are £8 for a family (two adults and four children), £3 for adults and £1.50 for children aged three to 16-years-old. On the day, family tickets are £10, £4 for adults and £2 for children.  Takes place at Butchers Coppice Scout Camp on Duck Lane/Holloway Avenue, in Bear Cross. 

The Christchurch Rotary Club bonfire and fireworks at Stanpit recreation ground will take place on Saturday, November 5. Gates open at 5pm and fireworks will be held at 7.45pm.  The bonfire is lit at 6.15pm.
Proceeds will go to a number of youth organisations in Christchurch. Entry costs £15 for a family of two adults and two children, £6 each for adults and £3 each for children under 16.

Wimborne plays host to Dorset's longest firework display on Saturday, November 5. Beasts of Fire boasts a 15,000 shot display synchronised to some of the most iconic and well-known film and TV themes from the world of fiction and fantasy. The event takes place in the grounds of St. Michael's Middle School, gates open at 4.30pm with two performances of 'The Dance of Light and Fire' before the main firework display at 7pm. There will be a bar, food stalls and a funfair. A Park and Ride scheme will be operating from the Wimborne Market car park in New Borough and Station Road, fees apply. Tickets for the display cost £6 for adults, £4 for children with free entry for under fives. 

The skies over Ringwood will be illuminated when the town holds its second annual community display on Friday, November 4. The event at Carvers Playing Field will feature a bar, hog roast, fair rides, bonfire, guy competition with prize money. Advanced tickets cost £1 and are available from The Gateway, Balloon Array Friday’s Court, White Hart at Poulner and both Ringwood Infant and Junior Schools. They will also be available at the gate on the night of the event at £2 each. Gates open at 5pm.

A family-friendly fireworks display will take place at St Katharine's School in Rolls Drive, Soutbourne, on Thursday November 3. The event will include entertainment from Mr Merlin and Okey Dokey Dragon and there will be hot food and drinks available on the night. 

The 20th annual Sparks in the Dark takes place at Haymoor Junior School playing fields on Friday, November 4. Gates open at 6.30pm with fireworks at 8pm. There will be stalls, a DJ, BBQ, refreshments, shows and more. Entry is £4 for adults, £3 for children aged five to 16-years-old (under 5s are free). A family ticket costs £12 for two adults and three children. Tickets are available from Haymoor School Office. Visitors are advised to park at Asda. 

The Bransgore bonfire and firework display takes place on November 4 from 5.30pm to 8pm. The display is held at the Three Tuns Inn with hot food available from 5.30pm and the sounds of the Christchurch & Highcliffe Brass Band. Tickets available from bransgoreprimaryschool.co.uk

Wareham Wednesday's Monster Firework Display goes off with a bang on Friday, November 4. From 6pm at Swanage and Wareham Rugby Club, there will be a bonfire, fireworks, fancy dress competition, stalls, a BBQ and live music. Advance tickets available at £5 for adults with free entry for children under 10.

The Rotary Club of Lymington hosts a fireworks event at the Pennington Recreation Ground on Saturday, November 5. There will be toffee apples, hot dogs and burgers, pies and pasties, a bouncy castle and a climbing wall. Gates open at 6pm and the display will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £2 for those aged five and above. Children aged four and under go free. 
All proceeds will go to Lymington-based charities.

The Alice Lisle, in Rockford Green, Ringwood, hosts a firework night in aid of Julia's House on November 4 from 6pm. There will also be live music, hog roast, BBQ and face painting.

Dudsbury Country Club Big Bang Fireworks Display is on November 5. Doors will open at 5pm with the firework display start at 8:30pm. There will a BBQ, outdoor bars, DJs, bouncy castles and activities such as neon painting. You can also book for dinner in the restaurant which is serving from 5pm until 9pm on http://dudsburycountryclub.com/. Family tickets with one child are £10, with extra child tickets £5 each.

Stourfield Junior School in Southbourne holds their annual Firework Festival for families on Saturday 5th November. There will be two firework displays, live music and hot food and refreshments as well as children’s entertainer Jaime Jigsaw and fairground rides and attractions. Gates open at 5.30pm with entry on the gate. Adults go for £5, children for £3 and the family deal for £15. The family deal includes two adults and three children. Those under two-years-old go for free. 

On November 5 the East Dorset Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club will be offering plenty of fun for all the family with music by Sam FM, food and drink, inflatables, stalls and more. The fireworks start at 7.15pm, with gates opening at 5pm.

Sherborne Firework Extravaganza will feature the cast of Octagon Theatre’s Peter Pan, refreshments, food and live music, topped off with an amazing firework display on November 5. Gates will be open from 5pm with fireworks at 7.30pm. Tickets for adults for for £8, children and senior citizens for £6 and under 5s go free.

Spetisbury Bonfire and Fireworks will light up the skies on November 5, offering hotdogs and mulled wine. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, followed by fireworks at 7pm. Adult tickets are £5 and children go for £3, with profits going to the church restoration fund.

Bere Regis School's fireworks extravaganza takes place on November 5. There will be a BBQ, bar, children’s disco and live music from The Jimmy Hillbillies. Gates will open at 5pm, with the fireworks starting from 7.30pm. Adults go for £5 and all children under 16 go for free.   

The Beaminster Big Bang takes place at Beaminster St Mary’s Academy on November 4. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks at 7pm. There will be a BBQ and refreshments. Adults go for £3 while children tickets are £1.

Thousands of people will gather on Weymouth Esplanade on November 5 to enjoy the free traditional Community Guy Fawkes Celebrations. A wealth of family Guy Fawkes entertainment, including fireworks, Guy Fawkes competition, fun fair and beach bonfire. The climax of the evening will be a fabulous free international firework display over Weymouth’s moonlit bay. Fairground on the Weymouth Pavilion forecourt opens at 3pm. Children’s Homemade Guy Fawkes Competition with judging at 6.45pm in the Weymouth Pavilion Foyer, beach bonfire lit at 7.40pm and fireworks at 8pm.
