THUGS punched a man in the face and handed back his mobile phone due to it having a cracked screen during a robbery.

The man was approached by two men as he walked along Chatsworth Way in New Milton at 11pm on Tuesday, September 27.

The victim was punched in the face twice by one of the men, who then asked for him to hand over items in his pockets.

He handed over £20 cash and an iPhone, but the phone device was handed back to him because it had a cracked screen.

One of the men was described as white, aged around 25 years, 5ft 10ins tall, of athletic build, clean shaven and with blue eyes. He was described as wearing a white hooded top with a logo on the front and a blue line across it, and blue jeans.

Another man was described as white, aged in his mid to late 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, of athletic build and had stubble on his face. He was described as wearing a dark waist-length jacket with a black shirt underneath.
