IT was a busy night for the fire service after they attended several alarms sounding across the county.
A crew from Swanage headed to a retail property in Shore Road at 5.45pm on Thursday evening, which was confirmed to be a false alarm.
Less than two hours later, firefighters from Christchurch were contacted at 7.07pm with reports of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding at a property. Crews searched the building and established it was a false alarm. Fire safety advice was given to the occupier before firefighters headed back to the station.
Just after 7.55pm, a Springbourne crew responded to alarms sounding at a domestic property in Knyveton Road, which was a false alarm.
The same crews from Springbourne were called out at just after 1.45am this morning due to alarms sounding in Old Christchurch Road. This was a confirmed false alarm after the responsible key holder contacted fire control to state that there is a fault on the system.
Wimborne firefighters were then sent to investigate alarms sounding in Blandford Road just before 2.15am, with the incident also being confirmed as a false alarm.
