Runners have less than 48 hours left to sign up for this year’s Bournemouth Marathon Festival.

The fourth edition of the Bournemouth Marathon Festival is set to be the biggest ever and best event since it launched in 2013.

The very best of Bournemouth and Poole is on show during the marathon festival, where the beautiful routes showcase the breathtaking panoramic views of the South Coast including sights of the iconic Bournemouth Pier.

The half marathon and marathon continue out along the magnificent coastline including Hengistbury Head, Boscombe Pier and Poole Harbour.

This unique festival of running brings many distances together and provides the perfect event for groups of runners or families to enjoy a full weekend.

Standard entries for the marathon and junior 2k are now full but late entries are still open for the half marathon, Supersonic 10k, Supernova 5k and junior 1.5k.

The marathon and half marathon take place on Sunday with all other races taking place on Saturday.

The Supernova 5k is the only one to take place at dusk and sees runners dress up in in florescent clothing and race along the prom.

The festival has raised £1.5m for good causes since 2013.

The deadline to enter is 5pm on Wednesday, unless capacity is reached beforehand.
