A boy had to be rescued from a ‘large’ tree by firefighters.
Four crews, including Poole Technical Rescue, were called to Heathfield Avenue just after 5.30pm on Friday. They used a 9m ladder to get the 10-year-old down from the tree.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Control said the boy “climbed up the tree of his own accord”, adding it was “not the first time” firefighters have had to rescue him from a tree.
