Splashdown in Tower Park was evacuated while fire crews investigated a 'burning smell'.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Control said two crews were sent to search the area behind Splashdown and Gala Bingo.
They were called just before 10.20am.
The source of the burning smell was found to be in Splashdown.
No sign of a fire at Tower Park, but lots of children with silver blankets outside Splashdown. Alarms sounding. @Bournemouthecho

"The smell of burning was located in the first floor electrical switch room. The switch room gear was isolated," the spokesperson added.
People are now being allowed back into the water park.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Splashdown said: "All operations have returned to normal following an evacuation in conjunction with Dorset Fire Officer, alarm panels on Tower Park triggered and a report of smell of smoke.
"Whole park evacuation ordered as a precaution.
"Fortunately no fire has been found and the source of any smell of smoke is currently being investigated to determine the cause.
"Thank you for the co-operation and understanding of our customers this morning, we apologise for the disruption to your visit but our paramount concern is the safety of our customers and staff."
