Condor Ferries have cancelled all day trips today due to a technical fault.
A fault with the fuel system was discovered on the Liberation last night during a crossing from from Guernsey to Poole.
Following an investigation by both Condor engineers and the engine manufacturer, the Liberation will operate on reduced power for the 11am crossing between Poole and the Channel Islands while additional spare parts are sourced.
As a result, all day trips have been cancelled and passengers who were due to make a daytrip will be offered a full refund or travel on an alternative date.
Passengers who were due to travel on the 11am service from Poole to Guernsey on Condor Liberation (dep 1100 arr 1400) will now arrive at 1800, as we regret their journey not route via Jersey.
Condor Ferries says passengers booked for the service from Poole to Guernsey will be offered a £7 disruption voucher at check-in for use onboard.
