THE circus has come to Poole today with talent from every corner of the globe.

Continental Circus Berlin has pitched up its Big Top at Branksome Recreation Ground until Tuesday, August 30.

The summer holiday treat is an amalgamation of brilliant circus acts, music and real youthful energy, incorporating performers from all over the world.

The show features live music and is housed in a climatically controlled theatre style Big Top.

The production is brimming with an international cast of mesmerising artistes, packed full of comedy, astounding jugglers, breath-taking balancing acts, a trio of aerial beauties on a revolving structure high in the roof of the big top – a gyrating hula hoop sensation, Herculean hand balancing, a contortionist who fires an arrow from a bow with her feet and the Laser Man.

You will see lightning bolt like lasers firing from all his fingers engulfing the whole of the arena with sensational laser beams.

This year’s spectacular features an unrivalled mix of genuine circus talent from every corner of the earth, backed with a mixture of traditional and good time pop and rock hits from the past four decades bringing an age-old tradition into the new millennium.

This animal-free circus comes to town under the Continental Circus Berlin banner.

The Continental Circus Berlin will be at Branksome Recreation Ground, Poole until Tuesday.

Performance times are Thursday August 25 - 3pm and 7.45pm, Friday August 26 - 3pm and 7.45pm, Saturday August 27 - 3pm and 6pm, Sunday August 28 - 2pm and 5pm, Monday August 29 - 2pm and 5pm and Thursday August 30 - 2pm and 5pm.
