A 31-YEAR-OLD man killed in a crash in Southbourne died of head injuries, an inquest heard.

Krzysztof Krafczyk ws pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, between a minibus and a Honda Jazz, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A Bournemouth inquest was told he was a passenger in the minibus involved in the crash, at the junction of Southbourne Road and Parkwood Road, at 12.54am.

Dorset Coroner Sheriff Payne opened the inquest this morning and it was adjourned for a full hearing on January 20.

Rafal Seniuk, aged 21 and from Poland, has been charged with causing Mr Krafczyk's death by dangerous driving and appeared before Bournemouth magistrates on Monday.

He was remanded on conditional bail to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on September 22.

Three other men aged 21, 26 and 54, who were inside the minibus, and the 44-year-old driver of the Honda all suffered minor injuries.

A 26-year-old man from Poland who was arrested on suspicion of driving offences has since been released without charge.
