UPDATE: Police say Daniel was found safe and well at 11.30pm on Sunday night.

POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing man from Poole.
Daniel Knight, 29, was last seen on Saturday evening.

He is described as white, about five feet ten inches tall, of medium build, with blonde hair. He may be wearing a dark blue or black hooded top.

Inspector Anna Harvey, of Dorset Police, said: “We believe Daniel was very upset before he disappeared and we are afraid that he may come to harm.

“I would urge anyone who might know where Daniel is or has seen a man matching his description to please call Dorset Police urgently.

“If Daniel sees this message then please contact police as we want to know that you are safe.”

The police helicopter, Coastguard and the RNLI were called to assist with the search for a missing person on Sunday morning.

They carried out extensive searches of the Poole area near Rockley Park and Poole harbour from around 8am on Sunday.

A spokesman from the RNLI said: “The Poole lifeboat was called to assist in the search from the docks to Seagull Island near Wareham. We were stood down after a few hours but Coastguard continued with the search.

The Coastguard were also called around 7.45am this morning to assist in the search.

A spokesman confirmed they were helping Dorset Police with the search for a missing person.
