TWO people were arrested during a day of action carried out in Boscombe and Pokesdown tackling anti-social behaviour.
Operation Benchmark involved the local Neighbourhood Policing Team, the Special Constabulary, British Transport Police and Devon and Cornwall Dog section.
Officers were targetting anti-social behaviour in the area and issued five section 35 notices, which orders someon to leave the area.
A 58-year-old male was arrested for possession of a Class A drug and a 27-year-old man, who was wanted for aggravated burglary, was also arrested.
Police Constable Rob Donnelly said: “The objective of this operation is to target anti-social behaviour, on-street drug dealing and aggressive begging in the Boscombe area.
“We are committed to delivering on the concerns of our community; this includes disrupting and making it difficult for drug dealers to operate in Boscombe and dealing with anti-social behaviour.
"I would like to reassure the public that this is not a one-off operation, we have been carrying out similar operations in recent months and they will continue into the future.
“Drug dealing and ASB will not be tolerated and if anyone has any concerns please do not hesitate to contact the local Neighbourhood Policing Team."
