TWO teenagers have been arrested after boys were robbed of their bikes in Boscombe.

The victims, who are aged 15 and 16, were standing outside McDonald's in Christchurch Road at 9.10pm on Monday, July 11 when they were approached by two other teenage boys.

It is alleged the boys threatened to harm the victims if they did not hand over their bikes.

The bikes were taken, but later recovered.

The suspects are described as black and aged in their teens. One had his hair in a dreadlock style and wore a baseball cap and the other wore a blue hooded top.

Detective Constable Luke Davis, of Bournemouth CID, said: “As part of my investigation I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man and a woman who were walking a dog in Christchurch Road at the time of the incident and may have witnessed what happened and tried to intervene.

“I would urge them to please contact Dorset Police.”

Two boys aged 15 and 16, both from London, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until the beginning of September.
