TWO people have suffered serious head injuries following a crash involving a van, a motorcycle and a car in Poole.
Woodside Road was closed for some hours between Penn Hill Avenue and Sandecotes Road while police officers investigated the scene.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were all in attendance after receiving reports of the collision just after 5pm.
The fire crew dealt with a fuel spillage on the road.
A black Kawasaki motorbike, a white Citroen Berlingo van registered to a company from Poole and a grey Mercedes A-class were involved.
The rider of the motorcycle and a pillion passenger were taken to Poole Hospital with serious head injuries, according to a spokesperson for Dorset Police.
One of the casualties is 25 years old. The other person's age is unknown.
Police are now calling for anyone with information about the crash, or about the manner of the riding of the motorcycle in Woodside Road and Penn Hill Avenue, to contact PC 673 Lawrence of the roads policing team on 101 quoting 14/333.
