AMERICANA band The Goddamn Gallows are set to play a new alternative music venue in Poole, the Freestyle Music Centre On July 1 at 7pm with support from local band, Catratchers.

The unique gig is presented by Dorset’s first Americana specialist music promoter ‘The Crawdaddy Club’ and kicks off at 7pm, when roots fans will be in for an unpredictable and volatile night of twanged-out tunes and debauchery.

Currently touring Europe, The Goddamn Gallows describe themselves as ‘broke, down and dirty’ and haunt venues around the world, bringing their ‘gutterbilly’ sound with them.

The gig on Friday is the last chance for fans of the band and the musical genre to see the guys in action on stage with The Goddamn Gallows in the UK this year.

Hailing from the United States of America, the band mix punk-rock with a hint of folk, and heavily rebel against being stuck in any one sound.

The fantastically named Fishgutzzz who is the vocalist and upright bassist describes it as: “simple, raw honest music that people can relate to and feel”.

Additional scumbag rockabilly delights will be thrown in by supporting band, the Catratchers, bringing the people of Dorset a taste of locally brewed Americana.

Tickets are £8.50 on the door or can be bought online at www.eventbrite.com/e/the-crawdaddy-club-presents-the-goddamn-gallows-and-catratchers-tickets-25937047407.

Also available is camping at a local venue, which is available to audience members for an additional £5.
