A woman had her purse stolen as she talked to a man on a bike in Bournemouth town centre this week.
Dorset Police said the woman was approached by a man on a bike in Commercial Road at around 3.20am on Monday, and while talking she removed her black purse from her handbag.
The man is said to have then snatched the purse off her and cycled away.
Detectives investigating the robbery are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone present in the Triangle area at the time.
A 36-year-old man of no fixed abode has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and is currently on police bail until the beginning of August.
