THE Daily Echo’s limited edition 100-page glossy magazine recounting AFC Bournemouth’s historic first season in the Premier League is now available to buy in shops.

The souvenir publication has been produced in the wake of Eddie Howe’s side securing their top flight status for another season.

A must-have for any Cherries fan, it documents every league game using stunning matchday images with the accompanying words telling this odds-defying sporting story.

Back in August the team were among the favourites for relegation, with the challenge of Premier League football deemed to be one step too far by some of the game’s most experienced pundits.

But then they saw off established, trophy-hoarding giants like Manchester United and Chelsea – and the football world stood up and took notice.

This magazine gives you the opportunity to relive those breathtaking victories – feats unthinkable just a few short years ago when the south coast side lay on the brink of extinction.

And who can forget some of those most magical of moments, including Matt Richie’s wonder strike against Sunderland and taking home the bragging rights against local rivals Southampton?

The Echo’s deputy editor, Neil Meldrum, said: “It was a remarkable season, one that many Cherries supporters are probably still trying to compute.

“This publication will stand the test of time and is something supporters will be able to look back on in years to come and tell their children and grandchildren about the day their club took on the Premier League’s finest and beat them.”

The magazine will also be brimming with statistics and in-depth interviews with the players and boss Eddie Howe to go alongside the photos documenting the side’s most successful ever league campaign.

Chairman Jeff Mostyn has written exclusively for the magazine, giving his own take on his club’s extraordinary achievement.

Copies of the glossy publication will be available from local stockists for just £5.95, can be ordered online at bournemouthecho.co.uk/premier_days, by calling 0845 1898250 or visiting the Bournemouth Daily Echo’s office in Richmond Hill from this afternoon.
