SOUTH African blues sensation guitarist Dan Patlansky is performing a headline show at Mr Kyps in Poole on Sunday after completing a tour with the UK’s biggest British blues rock band, King King.

Recently nominated as one of Classic Rock magazine’s hotly tipped new artists of 2015, Patlansky’s last studio album, Dear Silence Thieves has received non-stop accolades and praise.

This month saw the 34 year-old release his eighth album in 17 years, Introvertigo.

“Fans can expect a unique brand of Blues rock guitar playing, whilst striving for strong song writing. I’m very excited and proud of this album, and honestly feel this is my best release to date,” says Dan.

Having previously played at Mr Kyps in Lower Parkstone and is looking forward to returning this weekend.

He added: “I think the new live show for Introvertigo is the best yet. So we get to play the full show at Mr Kyps in Poole. I also hope to build on the live touring we did in 2015 in the UK, which was a great start for us.”

“The UK has been fantastic to us so far, and I hope Introvertigo is as well received as Dear Silence thieves was. I’ve only played Mr Kyps once before and it was one of my favourite shows last time round, so I’m very excited to return!”

Patlansky used his personal life experiences and musical influences as inspiration for the new album to ultimately marry good songs with guitar playing

“I think this is possibly my most accomplished album to date. The new album draws from all my influences from Audioslave, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jim Hendrix, Rival Sons and beyond.
