POLICE have launched an appeal to find two men believed to have been involved in shoplifting.

They have released images of the men wanted after alcohol was taken from a shop in Christchurch.

At around 2pm on Thursday, April 14, the two males entered the Nisa Local store and post office in Marlow Drive, where they are believed to have taken two bottles of Champagne without paying.

Sgt Scott McFarland, of Christchurch police, said: “As part of my investigation, I am now in a position to release CCTV images of two suspects.

“I would urge anyone who recognises either man to please call me on 101.”
