THE Daily Echo is teaming up with Cherries' star Benik Afobe to raise money for his charity in Africa.
Benik has signed ten Daily Echo prints of him celebrating his recent goal against Crystal Palace and ten PDFs of last Wednesday's back page featuring a story about the Afobe Foundation.
Now we'd like readers to email in with bids for them, with all the money raised going to the foundation.
It helps young people in the Democratic Republic of Congo who have lost their parents or guardians, to rebuild their lives.
Benik set up the charity shortly after turning professional in 2007. It supports boys and girls between the ages of seven and 18 by providing food, clothing, counselling and – above all – hope.
Afobe said: “Coming from DR Congo myself, I’ve have seen it from a young age. They live a very different lifestyle, and you see kids that have nothing, no shelter, no food.
“To start an orphanage would be a great thing.”
To make a bid email newsdesk@bournemouthecho.co.uk with your email marked up Afobe bid.
