A TRAIN company has warned that services could be disrupted this afternoon following an incident.

Staff at South West Trains say the emergency services have been called following "an incident between Bournemouth and Poole".

Services are likely to be "delayed, altered or cancelled" as a result, it is said.

The incident has now been dealt with and trains are beginning to run again.

However, delays may still remain until 5.30pm.

A statement from National Rail reads: "Emergency services are dealing with an incident between Bournemouth and Poole."

A spokesperson from the British Transport Police said he was unable to comment on the police activity.
