Man released on bail in convenience store raid probe
A MAN has been released on police bail in connection with an armed raid at a Bournemouth convenience store.
The 35-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested and released on police bail until mid-March in relation to an incident at the Best One store in Windham Road in Springbourne on Sunday, February 7.
Officers were called to the store at 2.20pm following reports that a man attacked a worker with a lump of wood, leaving the victim with head injuries, before fleeing with cash from the till.
An appeal for witnesses has been renewed and anyone with information is asked to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 7:250.
