HUNDREDS of swimmers have been making a splash at the Poole Lions 2016 Charity Swimathon.
The event, that started yesterday, has been organised to raise funds for five local charities.
Having raised £770,000 in 37-years, organisers are hoping to break the £800,000 mark at the Dolphin Pool.
The swimathon, which includes teams of six swimmers and a non-swimming captain, finishes later today Donations can still be made directly to the Poole Lions Swimathon or donations can be made by texting SWIM38 followed by £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to 70070.
