DEVELOPMENT proposals worth £100 million by Bournemouth University are set to go on show to the public.

The university hosts exhibitions of its schemes for its Talbot Campus and Lansdowne site on Monday, February 8, and Wednesday, February 10.

Plans for Talbot include a landmark Poole Gateway Building for their media and communication, management and science and technology faculties plus a bus hub, car park extension and link road.

The Lansdowne scheme aims to bring the faculty of health and social sciences (HSS) under one roof with modern facilities at the Bournemouth Gateway Building. Associated university parking and a new student accommodation building are also proposed.

The first exhibition on Monday, from 4pm-8.30pm, is on the fifth floor of the Student Centre at the Talbot Campus.

The second is on Wednesday, also from 4pm-8.30pm, at the BU Executive Business Centre in Holdenhurst Road, Lansdowne.

Visitors will have the chance to ask questions and fill in comment forms and all feedback will be analysed before planning applications are submitted to the local authorities in March.
