FIRE crews were called to Bournemouth Airport’s runway after reports of an aircraft reporting a potential emergency.
The fire service were contacted at 7.32am after a pilot reported a problem with his aircraft.
Fire crews were called as a matter of procedure, however the pilot was able to fix the issue while in the air and ensure a safe landing.
Crews were then able to leave the scene after ensuring that the pilot was safe and well.
