A LARGE branch was left blocking a road in Bournemouth today after a van ploughed into a tree.
Emergency services were called to Mount Pleasant Drive, near St Barnabas Church, at 9.20am after reports that a white Renault van had crashed.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said the incident had resulted in a large branch falling into the road.
The section of road affected was closed to traffic so council staff could recover the damaged vehicle, which had mounted the pavement, as well as ensuring that the highway was safe.
The force spokesperson confirmed that nobody was injured in the crash.
