A BUS and a car were involved in a crash in Charminster Road.
The collision, which is believed to have occurred at around 3.10pm near the Esso garage, involved a blue and red Morebus M1 single decker bus and a black Peugeot 308 convertible.
The car was registered to a man from the Poole area.
An ambulance and paramedic vehicle attended the scene.
A spokesman for the South Western Ambulance Service said they were called at 3.22pm.
Crews treated three patients - the bus driver, car driver and one bus passenger - and one was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
The bus driver said there were around 16 passengers on board at the time of the crash. He said they were uninjured and boarded the next bus to their destination.
There was damage to rear of the bus and the front of the car.
