A MAN arrested amid reports of someone wielding a machete at at Poole holiday park continues to 'help police with their enquiries'.
Armed officers were among those called to the incident at Rockley Park, Hamworthy, on Tuesday afternoon.
Dorset Police arrested a 53-year-old man from Poole for possessing an offensive weapon.
One person received minor injuries during the incident and an ambulance was called to the scene. However, they did not require hospital treatment.
A spokesman for Rockley Park said: "The park continues to be open and functioning normally, as it did throughout yesterday's unfortunate incident."
A member of the holiday park staff said the incident was "dealt with swiftly".
Officers were sent to the holiday park in Napier Road at 2.30pm.
A road closure was in place around Rockley Park while the incident was ongoing, but the park remained open throughout the drama. Police left the area around 6pm.
A Dorset Police spokesman confirmed the man arrested was still helping them with their enquiries and also confirmed that armed officers were among those who attended the incident.
