POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle crashed into a parked car and then a brick wall in Wimborne.
The incident happened at around 10.50am on Sunday, October 4, on Wimborne Road West, close to the junction with Ham Lane.
The rider was taken to Poole Hospital with serious injuries to his ribs, neck and shoulders. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
PC Fern Graham, of Dorset Police’s Road Traffic Unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
“I would particularly like to speak to the driver of a black BMW X5, as I believe they may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have valuable information to assist with my enquiries.
“All calls will be treated in confidence.”
Witnesses and anyone with information is asked to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 4:159. Alternatively, call the free Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
