DARCY Ward has announced he will be attending his benefit meeting at Poole Stadium on Wednesday.
Pirates are staging the night, which will see a host of the world’s top riders such as legend Greg Hancock and 2012 world champion Chris Holder, to raise funds for 23-year-old Ward who suffered spinal injuries while riding in Poland in August.
The news is a major boost for fans of the shale sport and those who have pledged more than £40,000 to help with his medical costs so far.
Happy to say il be attending my benefit meeting at Poole on Wednesday, please don't expect much everything still so hard. Excited though 👍
