A BOURNEMOUTH woman escaped injury this morning after her car flipped onto its side outside a junior school.
Police were called to Stourvale Road at 6.35am after receiving reports of a single-vehicle crash.
The car, a grey Fiat Punto, had overturned onto its side and damaged a bollard.
The collision took place outside Stourfield Junior School.
Fortunately, the driver of the car - which police said was registered to a Bournemouth woman - was not hurt in the collision.
The car was recovered, and the local authority were called to deal with the damaged bollard.
