FOUR men have been arrested after a fight outside a Bournemouth bar which left one man needing surgery.

Police were called to reports of a brawl outside Havana wine bar in Charminster, at 1.20am on Sunday, September 20.

A 23-year-old man from Bournemouth suffered a dislocated ankle and injuries to his head and face.

He was taken to Poole Hospital and later underwent surgery on his leg.

DC Ben Morgan, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I believe a number of people were in the area at the time and witnessed this incident.”

He urged anyone with information to contact police.

Three Bournemouth men aged 23, 29 and 30 and a 24-year-old man from Poole were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and have been released on police bail until mid-November.
