AN 86-year-old woman who died in a crash near Wool suffered multiple injuries, an inquest heard.
Barbara Hill-Brown of Victoria Avenue, Swanage died at the scene of the collision on the A352 on Sunday August 16.
Dorset Coroner Sheriff Payne adjourned the Bournemouth inquest until February 10 next year to allow for further inquiries to be carried out.
"She was a much loved member of the community in her home town of Swanage since 1947. She loved life and lived it in all its fullness."
Mrs Hill-Brown was the front seat passenger in a Ford Fiesta which was involved in a collision with a Hyundai.
The driver of the Fiesta, a 60-year-old man from Australia, suffered serious life-changing spinal injuries and was taken to Poole Hospital.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 36-year-old man from Wareham, suffered serious injuries and is also receiving treatment at Poole Hospital.
