Inquest open into death of dad killed in fire engine smash
AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a father-of-two who died in a tragic crash with a fire engine.
Darren Harvey was killed last Saturday when his Ford Puma collided with an appliance on the A337 between Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst.
Tributes poured in for the 25-year-old this week as the Daily Echo reported the heartbreak of widow Becki, who Darren had married just seven weeks before the crash.
The inquest is due to resume at Winchester Coroner’s Court on January 14, 2016.
