The Beer and Cider Festival at The Greyhound Inn at Corfe Castle comes to a close today. There will be live music, pizza, fish and chips take away plus they will be open for breakfast. 

The Boscombe East and West Festival continues today at the Precinct with music, dance and food on offer. There will be much on offer from different cultures with the event designed like an Asian street market. Countries represented will include China, India, The Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, Turkey, Italy, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom. The event runs  from 10.30am till 6pm.

Verwood Rustic Fayre takes place at Potterne Park today. The event is hosted by the Verwood Rotary Club in support of a number of charities. There will be classic cars on display, a car boot sale and stalls.

The Dorset Plane Pull takes place on Monday at Bournemouth Airport. A variety of local charities are involved in the event which sees teams of 20 attempt to pull a 35,000kg Boeing 737 a distance of 50 meters trying to secure the fastest time. Food and drink stalls are on offer for spectators and participators alike. The Mayors of Bournemouth and Christchurch will also be in attendance. The 'Sea Monsters' pop-up exhibiton continues over on Portland. A programme of free public events, suitable for all the family, includes site walks, talks, workshops and activities. Sea Monsters runs until Monday at Osprey Leisure Centre and the Drill Hall Gallery. A programme of free public events, suitable for all the family, includes site walks, talks, workshops and activities.

A family fun day takes place at Bashley (Rydal) Cricket Club on Bashley Road from 2pm to 5pm, featuring stalls, rides and a dog show. Admission is £1 for adults and free for under 16s. For more information go to bashleyrydal.co.uk.
