YOU have to get up early to beat these boys in the race for designer trainers.

Four lads- three of them from London -were already in the queue outside Consortium in Bournemouth on Thursday morning, for a sale that doesn't start until Saturday.

The prize? Adidas Yeezy 350 Boost trainers designed in collaboration with rapper Kanye West. Price, £150.

Third in line, Faisal Piracha, 21, arrived by train on Wednesday night.

"It's a bit crazy," told the Echo; "I have queued for trainers outside London before but you have to do these things if you want them."

He added: "They are a very limited edition and there are plenty of people who want them. There are only two stores in London where you can buy them so you have to look further afield.

"The bonus is that we get to see a really nice place and I gather there's an air festival we can watch while we are waiting."

First in the queue was Clayton Jeremiah, 22 of Southampton.

"I guarantee they will be queuing around the block by Saturday morning," he said.

Staff from Bournemouth thought the lads were rough sleepers at first and were about to move them on before they realised they were simply eager shoppers.
