The Daily Echo and Castle Cameras are looking for your best picture from the 2016 Bournemouth Air Festival.

Our annual contest invites photographers of all ages to get out their cameras and submit their pictures from the four-day extravaganza, which runs from Thursday, August 18, to Sunday, August 21.

There are two categories - adult and junior, for ages 16 and under.

This year the judges are looking for an image of aviation from the adults, while juniors will need to capture the spirit of the Air Festival.

The 39 best Bournemouth Air Festival competition entries from the first five years

The adult prize is £300 of Castle Cameras vouchers and budding young junior photographers will receive £100 in Castle Cameras vouchers.

Once you have chosen your best image - only one entry per person and it has to be taken by yourself - send us an email with your name, age (for junior entrants) address and phone number to airfest2016@bournemouthecho.co.uk

Please make it clear that it's an entry for the photo competition when sending your pictures.

The file should be as large as possible, at least 500kb and state in the subject heading either ‘Adult Air Festival Comp’ or ‘Junior Air Festival Comp’.

We will display our favourite images in a gallery at bournemouthecho.co.uk/air and the deadline for entries is Friday, August 26.
