A MOTORIST has this afternoon been taken to hospital with suspected head and wrist injuries following a two-car collision in Wimborne Road, Poole.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 3.20pm, finding a silver Mazda registered to a man from Poole and a black Hyundai registered to a company based in Fareham, Hampshire, had been involved in a crash.
One of the motorists was treated at the scene, and has been taken to Poole Hospital.
A spokesperson from the South Western Ambulance Service said: "There were two people who were seen by paramedics.
"Both were conscious and breathing. One had sustained head and wrist injuries and was taken to hospital."
The road was briefly closed at the junction with Tatnam Road to allow for recovery to take place.
