Major Poole road closed following lunchtime crash
A POOLE road was closed this afternoon following a crash.
The A3049 Canford Way was shut at the Alderney Roundabout and Mannings Heath Roundabout as a result of the collision.
No one is believed to have been badly hurt.
However, a lamp post is believed to have toppled onto the carriageway in the incident.
A spokesperson from Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters attended, but have now left.
"No one needed to be extricated. However, a vehicle needed to be made safe. A lamp post had also fallen into the carriageway."
