THE Red Arrows were forced to cancel a display after due to bad weather in Bournemouth.
The team were due to soar over Southampton Water shortly after 3pm for the first time as part of the Cunard line’s 175th anniversary celebrations.
The jets were held at Bournemouth Airport and tweeted that chances of a fully display were looking poor.
The weather suddenly cleared at Bournemouth so pilots could take off. They took to the air but above the Isle of Wight they encountered sea fog.
Shortly afterwrads they tweeted an apology to say they would not be able to perform in Southampton.
We're really sorry but the team will not be able to fly over #Southampton or perform a display due to the weather. Safety first as always.

The display was meant to have featured a number of new moves including the shape of the historic Spitfire aircraft which was created and built in and around Southampton, and a number of other synchronised formations and acrobatic stunts.
Earlier this week, the team's flying times for next month's Bournemouth Air Festival were revealed.
It is the second time they will appear at the festival across all four days.
