THE half dozen traveller vehicles that arrived at a Sandbanks car park midweek have now left the immediate area.
Borough of Poole confirmed the remaining four motor homes left the Banks Road car park early yesterday morning.
However, three caravans and a silver transit van - not thought to be from the same Sandbanks encampment - did arrive at the Dolphin Swimming Pool car park yesterday morning.
Borough of Poole say they are monitoring this smaller encampment, which has been established at the far end of the council-owned car park.
The travellers that arrived at Sandbanks first settled in the middle of the 550 space car park, but moved to the top corner of the site when asked by a parking attendant to do so.
By mid-morning on Wednesday - the hottest day of the year so far - the car park was only about a third full of holidaymakers.
