ONE of the problems for as long as I can remember is something known as the generation gap and we need to be doing something to address this issue.

We currently have several million silver surfers who are elderly people who have learned to master the internet, so why not silver skaters?

70 is apparently the new 50 so if we could encourage people in their 70s and 80s to take up skateboarding they could become kindred spirits with the younger generation while adopting a far less sedentary life style.
