Police are investigating after an 11-year-old-girl was sexually assaulted in Kinson last night.

The child was walking home through Cuckoo Woods at around 8pm when she was approached by a man, who proceeded to touch her inappropriately before fleeing the scene when the victim's phone rang.

The man, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, is described as being around 5ft 8ins with dark olive skin and short black gelled hair over to one side and having goatee style stubble.
