Want to know what's happening at Bournemouth Wheels Festival today? Here's our handy guide to what's happening, where and when on day two. 

The festival runs until Sunday, May 31 and starts from 10am with events running into the evening.  

Today's highlight: Stunt driver Paul Swift will be attempting to drive the length of East Overcliff on two wheels. Also, Southbourne will be hosting a one-off fringe event.

Zone 1 - East Undercliff towards Boscombe Pier

  • Classic car pageant - hundreds of classic cars and bikes will be on show between 10am and 6pm.
  • Australian stunt rider the 'Kangaroo Kid' will be performing quad bike stunts at 2pm and 5.30pm.
  • Desert driving at 12pm and Army driving at 1pm and 3pm 

Zone 2 – Heart Monster Truck Arena between Bournemouth and Boscombe

Seven 30-minute Monster Truck shows will take place at 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 6pm, 7pm.

Zone 3 - Monster truck rides, funfair, Jeep Action, east of Bournemouth Pier 

Up to eight passengers can enjoy a ride in a full-size American monster truck, experiencing sharp corners, mound climbs and car crushing. £10 per person per ride (not suitable for children under 1 metre) 

Live music on the seafront stage between 8pm and 10pm.

Jeep will be performing interactive demonstrations and displays.

Zone 4 – Pier Approach, Lower Gardens, BIC

  • Purbeck Hall, BIC, supercars on display between 12-6pm.
  • Cycle village
  • Family zone in the Lower Gardens with circus and hula hoop workshops between 5pm and 9pm.
  • Wheelchair sports
  • Freewheel Action Sports, Pier Approach - Team Extreme's BMX riders, skateboarders and skaters perform tricks at 12.30pm, 2pm, 4pm and 5.15pm.
  • Outside the Pavilion you'll find pre-war and vintage cars from 10am to 6pm.

Zone 5 - West of Bournemouth Pier

  • Freestyle Motocross (FMX) stunts with shows at 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm, 7.45pm
  • Classic cars on display

Zone 6 – East Overcliff demo course

  • Static displays from 10am, and then supercar parade at 11am.
  • Demo shows will be taking place at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.
  • Supercar parade at 2.30pm
  • Stunt driver Paul Swift will be attempting to drive on two wheels at 6.15pm. 

Cars featuring in the demo show include: F1 Cars, Le Mans Cars, Pre War Cars, 50s sports cars

New for 2015 is the pop-up arena near the demo straight, where a variety of shows will take place  at 1.55pm and 4.30pm, including precision driving, karting and even a lawn mower display team. 

Southbourne Fringe, Southbourne Grove, 4pm-10pm

Southbourne will be hosting its own share of the action, funded by the Coastal Business Improvement District (BID).

Vintage and supercars will be pulling in, fresh from the Wheels Festival demonstration straight on East Overcliff Drive. A selection of up to 10 iconic cars will be joined by a variety of car club owners, showcasing an eclectic range of four-wheeled transport.

Joining the car collection will be freestyle mountain bike stunt team, Savage Skills.

The dare-devil team will be on hand to wow crowds with their elevated jumps and impressive stunts. Savage Skills are known to many for their appearance on ITV’s Let’s Go Gold, which saw England cricketer, Andrew Flintoff, put himself in the line of fire for one of their stunts. Kids and big kids alike will be able to enjoy testing their nerve as the team seeks out assistants for their interactive stunt demonstrations.

  • The Wet Bandits on the Live Stage - 4.30pm, 6.15pm, 7.30pm and 8.45pm 
  • Sam the Unicycle Man - 4pm, 4.45pm and 7pm
  • Children's BMX sessions - 4.30pm and 5.45pm 
  • Supercars - 5.30pm 
  • Plus: roaming stilt walker and children’s face-painting
