This time last year Cherries secured their place in the Premier League.

All eyes were on AFC Bournemouth when they achieved the impossible dream and entered the top flight for the first time in the club's history.

THOUSANDS of Cherries fans are celebrating tonight after the impossible dream became a reality.

Following AFC Bournemouth’s sensational 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers, the club has effectively secured promotion to the Premier League.

And here’s how those beautiful boys in black and red gave us that fairytale happy ending.

Before the match, the fans were in good spirits.

The Daily Echo was flying the Cherries flag.

Alongside the best part of 12,000 supporters who filled the stands at Dean Court.

Tommy Elphick made time for that all-important pre-match ritual (and clearly it works!)

And Cherries fans from far and wide pulled up a pew to watch the crucial game.

The home team were looking good throughout the first half.

In the 44th minute Matt Ritchie made it 2-0.

And then, it was pretty much all over.

A few minutes later Wilson made it 3-0 and cheers of "We're Premier League" sounded around Dean Court.
