A main sponsor of the inaugural Poole Harbour Boat Show has unveiled a star studded line-up for its live music stage.

Sunseeker has organised the Sunseeker Sessions stage, which will be a central feature of the two-day, family-friendly event on May 9 and 10 being held by Poole Harbour Commissioners.

It will showcase great British performance with musical talent from across the region. Confirmed acts include popular skiffle band Quinns Quinney who will headline on the Saturday evening.

The full Sunseeker Sessions line-up will feature an eclectic mix of rock, jazz, blues, folk, shanty and indie music, with local acts Empire Affair, Alex Roberts Duo, The Bonsai Pirates, The Dorset Wrecks and The Ace Trio scheduled to appear with more to be confirmed.

"We're expecting to see high numbers of boat enthusiasts descending on Poole Quay and Poole Quay Boat Haven for the show and the Sunseeker Sessions stage will be a real focal point on the quayside," said Bryan Jones, marketing manager at Sunseeker.

"Alongside the array of Sunseeker yachts we'll have on display it's going to contribute to a spectacular event, and we're looking forward to seeing this great line-up of local bands keeping the crowds entertained."

Jim Stewart, Poole Harbour Commissioners chief executive said: "We are excited that Sunseeker will have a presence at our first Poole Harbour Boat Show, they are such a big name in the marine industry and having a well-known local company support the event is fantastic.

"The Sunseeker Sessions live music stage will be a great addition to the quay and with the bands confirmed to be performing, we're sure visitors will be entertained throughout the weekend."

This free public event takes place on Poole Quay and at PHC's award winning marina, Poole Quay Boat Haven. The first ever Poole Harbour Boat Show will include a variety of marine related businesses, family-focussed entertainment and activities. For more information visit pooleharbourboatshow.co.uk.
