Firefighters tackle shed fire in Cranborne
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a shed fire in Cranborne this evening.
Fire crews from Cranborne and Verwood were called to a property in Penny’s Lane just before 7pm.
A spokesman from Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival firefighters found one shed well alight. Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and remained at the scene damping down and turning over.”
The fire is believed to have been caused by stray embers from a bonfire.
