POLICE have issued a new appeal in a bid to trace missing Blandford man Gary Williams.

The 44-year-old was last seen in Milton Keynes on Friday, March 20.

He is described as white, slim, 6ft, with grey/black hair which is thin on top and longer at the sides. He was last seen wearing black shoes, black trousers and a black zip-up cardigan.

He is believed to have been carrying a duffle bag, possibly green.

Thames Valley Police has now issued a timeline of his last known movements.

On Thursday, March 19, Gary was on a night out with work colleagues at Pink Punters in Watling Street, Milton Keynes.

The next morning at 2.24am, he left the club with one of his co-workers.

He was seen on CCTV at 2.56am getting a taxi taxi from the BP Garage in Fenny Stratford, Bletchley.

At 3.10am, Gary and his co-worker arrived at Travel Lodge Hotel in Burchard Crescent, Shenley Church End and went to their separate rooms.

Later, at 3.51am, he was seen on CCTV leaving the hotel alone, carrying what is believed to be a duffle bag.

Just over an hour later, at 5am, Gary’s hotel room keys were found at reception. He was not in his hotel room.

He did not attend work that morning at 8am, and at 3.08pm he was reported missing.

Gary has no mobile phone, he may not have access to money and he may have difficulty finding his way around Milton Keynes.

Inspector Lee Brace, leading the search, said: “We are increasingly worried about Gary, as he has now been missing for more than a week.

"He may have been under the influence of alcohol when he left his hotel as he had been on a night out, and we do not believe he has access to a mobile phone, car or much money.

“Gary has not been heard from or seen since last Friday and it is vital that we trace him to check he is safe and well.

“Gary was staying in Shenley Church End for work and lives in Dorset, so has no great knowledge of the area. However, we know that he does like to walk and so we would ask motorists in particular to let us know if they see a man answering Gary’s description walking along side any major roads.

“I would urge anyone who sees a man matching Gary’s description to contact us. Gary, if you see this appeal, please get in touch with us. You are not in any trouble, we just need to know that you are safe.”

Anyone with information about Gary’s whereabouts is asked to contact Insp Brace via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101 quoting 862 20/3.
